Our partnerships and impact
We partner with governments, multilateral organisations, charities, academic institutions, social innovators, and other purpose-driven groups to help them turn data into action and strengthen communities worldwide.
We've partnered with the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Office for Project Services as technology delivery partner for the International Aid Transparency Initiative, a landmark open data initiative to improve decision-making, increase accountability, and enable more effective outcomes in development and humanitarian aid.
Our collaborations with the World Bank have helped build data infrastructure to address climate and disaster risk, support the transition to sustainable and efficient energy, map access to high-speed internet in Sub Saharan Africa, and deliver rapid responses to the global food crisis.
Through our work with the Open Contracting Partnership, we've helped local and national governments to transform public procurement in over 60 countries. Our partnership with Open Ownership has strengthened corporate transparency and accountability reforms in over 40 countries, helping organisations like Transparency International, Global Witness, and the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists to understand company ownership and control.
In the UK, we've partnered with 360Giving to make grantmaking more transparent by helping grantmakers to publish data about over 1 million grants worth over £286 billion. We've worked with the University of Oxford's Government Outcomes Lab to research effective cross-sector partnerships, helped Sport England rethink how they use data to get people moving, and developed prototypes with NESTA to strengthen public trust in our democratic institutions.
These collaborations reflect our commitment to building data initiatives that meet real needs, deliver measurable results, and support long-term change in communities around the world.
